Teaching

Sandra teaches regularly in the UK, mainland Europe, Canada and recently Australia and New Zealand.  Design, collage, composition and surface technique is the main focus with inspiration from landscape, colour, world textiles, texture in nature and stitch ‘marks’.  Visiting quilt, embroidery, and contemporary textile groups as well as residential weekend courses, summer schools and major conferences and exhibitions keeps her diary very full.

In the last year some of her workshops featured at  Quilt und Textilekunst, Munich, Quiltundart, Frankfurt, The Embroiderers Guild, Melbourne, Australia,  Ticino Creative Days, Lugano Switzerland,  The Dutch Textile Museum, Tilburg, Netherlands, The Textile Museum of Canada, Toronto, and taken her to places like Hobart, Tasmania and New Zealand.
